January 2018 Lake Levels and Flow Rates

It's never good starting the new year's posts late, but I've been busy.  Besides, January isn't exactly a big deal with lake levels unless Ameren screws up and makes it one.  I'm happy to say that January pretty much went like many January's before, heading to maximum draw down (which as of today, 2/21/18, I believe we have hit) which Ameren stated would likely come February 19th.

In a few days, I'll be posting February's numbers, but for the purpose of completeness here is January's chart.

As you can see, levels got a jump on the low side starting the new year, but we can see the five year average (grey) quickly converging at the end of the month.  Power generation seemed a bit light for the time of year and the wicked cold temps.
